Ready to discover and enjoy Drôme!
Your guest house la demeure du Mokuso is ideal to start exploring the diversity of Drôme.
Old hilltop villages, castles, a beautiful and colourful countryside, mountain passes and fabulous views; outdoor activities (biking, walking, climbing, canyoning); local delights (cheese, fruits, poultry, wine, olive oil); Provencal markets and local craftworks.
Among all the discoveries you will make around your guest house, a few suggestions for places we do like:
Spend an afternoon among old stones: Cliousclat, Mirmande, Marsanne, … to discover the maze of old sloping streets and the potters.
Cool things to do with your children !
The birds garden of Upie, birds from all over the world.
The Allex aquarium, some fish you will see nowhere else.
The Crest tower and its treasure hunt.
The crocodiles farm, for a thrill.
The accrobranche de Marsanne for the sporty.
Outdoor
Visit the réserve des Ramières and the river Drôme.
Take a walk and have a picninc in the Saoû forest.
Have a little swimming at the foot of the Druise waterfall.
Or, a bit trickier, try the canoë on the Drôme river.
Climb the ruins of the Crussol castle to see the view on Valence and the Rhone river.
Or else,
Take a look at Montélimar, lunch on the boulevards and of course, try the nougat.
An outing on the plateau du Vercors, via the valley of the Gervanne and back through the mountain pass of the Rousset.
You can also visit the Drôme provençale (we love Grignan).
Or spend a day in the gorges de l’Ardèche and visit the Chauvet cave.
To prepare your stay you can have a look at Vallée de la Drôme Tourisme and see the information and suggestions of Drôme Tourisme.
We have in store for you a whole series of leaflets and ideas for your stay.
